Feedback from school and business association
Head of careers commented: Unbelievably this event cost us no more than the price of tea, coffee and refreshments and not only met our objectives to engage , reinforce and forge new links with local businesses but also generated revenue to cover the cost of some staff training on digital media.
Guy B said: Thirsk Business Association are fully committed to developing links between schools and local businesses to assist with work placements, apprenticeships and employment opportunities. Helping the school, the students and local businesses. This event which was initiated to further facilitate that process and succeeded to help us achieve our aims and goals
