One Chance to make a good First Impression
Many of us use LinkedIn to become more visible and raise our profile in the relevant marketplace. Potential clients may well 'check us out' prior to a meeting, and LinkedIn is often the first port of call when researching a new business contact after a meeting.
We've all heard the phrase, First Impressions Count, so understand the importance of creating a credible and effective online presence.
Remember to personalise the URL for your LinkedIn profile. Is it still of the form: uk.linkedin.com/pub/your-name/36/876/ba7 with unnecessary characters and digits at the end?
